What a sponsor actually does
Joining eXp Realty always happens through a sponsor — an existing agent in the organization who supports a new agent from the start. A sponsor isn't a manager in the traditional sense; they're a guide who helps you understand the platform, the tools, the working model and the compensation structure, sharing real day-to-day experience rather than just company marketing material.
Why sponsorship through Wałęsa Group
My own sponsor at eXp Realty is Gogo Bethke, an ICON-status agent who has built one of the larger, more established sponsor teams within eXp Realty internationally. That matters for you as a prospective agent: joining through Wałęsa Group doesn't just mean access to eXp's platform — it means becoming part of that wider team structure, with its network, training culture and referral relationships, while getting day-to-day, hands-on support from someone who actually works transactions in Poznań and Wielkopolska. You get local answers to local questions, plus the reach of an international team behind you.
If you specialize in premium, commercial or cross-border transactions, that combination is particularly relevant — Wałęsa Group already works in exactly those segments, alongside standard residential sales.
What you can generally expect
Beyond the revenue share and stock ownership elements already mentioned, agents in the eXp Realty model typically get access to cloud-based transaction tools, training resources, and a mentorship relationship with their sponsor rather than a purely transactional recruiting process. Exactly which tools, programs and thresholds apply depends on eXp Realty's current policies at the time you join, which is why I walk through specifics on a call rather than listing fixed numbers here.
What I won't promise
There's no single guaranteed income figure and no guarantee of success — that depends on your own activity, experience and the market you work in. My role as a sponsor is to give you a full, realistic picture of the model so you can make an informed decision, not to oversell it.
